Endon Cordero 101568 Flush Ceiling Light Gold Fretwork 3xE27 Fabric and Glass Ø 43 cm

Name: Endon Cordero 101568 Flush Ceiling Light Gold Fretwork 3xE27 Fabric and Glass Ø 43 cm
Brand: Endon

The Endon Cordero 101568 is a drum-shaped flush ceiling light: the outer skin is a gold-finished fretwork of repeating ovals, with a white fabric shade set inside it. A frosted glass disc closes the underside. The fitting mounts tight to the ceiling on a short gold-finished base. How much room it takes below the ceiling The drum is 43 cm across and hangs 26 cm below the ceiling. That second figure is what decides where it goes: the manufacturer intends it for rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant would be in the way. Compare those 26 cm with the headroom you actually have in the room. The fitting weighs 2.3 kg, so it is fixed to the structural ceiling or to the supporting frame of a suspended one, not to plasterboard alone. The light it gives and what you buy alongside Inside are three E27 holders, each rated up to 10 W. No bulbs are supplied, so three are needed to put the light into service — the manufacturer intends E27 LED lamps for this fitting. The lamps sit behind the fabric shade and are covered from below by frosted glass, so the shape of the bulb makes no difference: light leaves diffused through the fabric, downwards through the glass disc and sideways through the fretwork. The fitting can be dimmed, but it has no dimmer of its own — you need lamps described as dimmable and a dimmer in the circuit. Build and connection The metal skin carries a gold-effect plated finish, and because the pattern is cut right through, the lit fitting draws a repeating rhythm of bright shapes onto the ceiling and walls. The inner shade is white fabric and the diffuser is frosted glass. The fitting is protection class I, so an earth conductor has to be present at the ceiling point. Supply is 230 V, and the IP20 rating covers dry indoor rooms only — this is not a fitting for a bathroom shower zone.Mostra di più
