LED profile LUMINES type APA16 silver anodized 1 m

Name: LED profile LUMINES type APA16 silver anodized 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES APA16 is an aluminium profile with a silver anodised finish for building linear accent lighting into walls and ceilings. This version is 1 m long and is designed for construction using 16 mm board. Its asymmetric cross-section combines a channel for an LED strip with a wider section that connects to the surrounding wall finish.Match the profile to the boardThe APA16 designation identifies the version for 16 mm board; it should not be confused with APA12. The manufacturer describes screw fixing and finishing part of the profile with filler. Installation therefore belongs in the planning of the boarded structure, rather than being treated as fitting a ready-made wall light to a completed wall. The full cross-section measures 39.4 mm across and 23.2 mm high. Allow for that complete shape in the construction, not just the visible lighting slot. The 1000 mm length defines the section offered here; longer sections are separate variants in the range.Choose a compatible BASIC coverAPA16 works with BASIC covers. The documentation lists PMMA and PC versions, including clear, milky and frosted covers and lens options. Choosing the cover is part of designing the lighting effect. The aluminium profile itself does not determine the light colour, brightness or distribution.Select the LED strip, suitable cover and power supply as coordinated parts of one system. Silver anodising describes the aluminium finish, not the colour temperature of the LEDs. Installation photographs illustrate possible uses of the profile, rather than establishing electrical specifications for this one-metre section.Architectural lines rather than a decorative fittingThe profile can accent the geometry of walls and ceilings in living rooms, kitchens, bedrooms and office spaces. Its straight form and integration with board suit modern, minimalist interiors. The result depends on the route of the line and the selected light source and cover. This is a component of an architectural lighting installation, not a substitute for a complete room-lighting design.Mostra di più
