NORLYS Modena 382BL Garden Lamp Post, Black – Two Lanterns on a Telescopic Pole 2.0–2.92 m, 2 × E27

Name: NORLYS Modena 382BL Garden Lamp Post, Black – Two Lanterns on a Telescopic Pole 2.0–2.92 m, 2 × E27
Brand: NORLYS

The Modena 382BL is a NORLYS twin-arm garden lamp post carrying two hexagonal lanterns in a classic style on a telescopic pole. It is made of powder-coated cast aluminium in black (RAL 9005), and each lantern is topped with a decorative spire. The set comprises the Modena Big 3024 lanterns, the 3040 terminal head and the 3010 telescopic pole.Size and where to place itThe pole height is telescopic: according to the manufacturer's data sheet the lamp stands from about 2.0 m to 2.92 m. The two arms with lanterns span 95 cm, and each lantern is 32 cm wide. Compare that with the width of the path or bed beside the lamp, so the lanterns do not reach into shrubs or over the walkway. The lamp weighs 13.99 kg net. The base is fixed with three bolts through ø10.5 mm holes spaced 120° apart on a ø240 mm circle. The concrete foundation, the anchors for concreting or for soil and the foundation adapter are sold separately by the manufacturer — one of them has to be bought before the lamp can be installed.Light source and light outputEach of the two lanterns has an E27 socket for a classic pear-shaped bulb; the manufacturer specifies an LED source of up to 9 W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose brightness and colour — an LED bulb of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W bulb, and 2700–3000 K is the warm light that suits a classic lantern. The user replaces the bulb. The clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate panels do not diffuse the light, so the bulb stays visible and the light spreads sideways onto the area around the pole. A damaged panel is available as a spare part.Protection and connectionWith an IP54 rating the lamp is protected against water splashing from any direction and can stand outdoors without a roof. It is class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next lamp, so several lamp posts along a path can run from one circuit. The supply cable should be round-sheathed, 6–12.5 mm in diameter. The manufacturer designed this lamp for gardens, parks and other architectural settings; it also suits hotel or restaurant grounds and the edge of a terrace.Meer tonen
