LUMINES SCALA LED stair profile, anodized silver, 1 m

Name: LUMINES SCALA LED stair profile, anodized silver, 1 m
Brand: Lumines

LUMINES SCALA is an aluminium stair profile with an anodized silver finish. This 1 m section forms part of a linear stair-lighting system, combining a channel for LED strip with a separate recess for an anti-slip cord.Designed around the stair edgeThe SCALA cross-section extends over the upper and front portions of the step edge. It is therefore different from a flat LED channel intended for furniture. Compare the profile section with the shape and surface of the actual step before planning the installation. This version measures 1000 mm; longer sections in the same family are different product variants. The manufacturer specifies surface mounting with screws. Their fixing positions sit beneath the anti-slip cord, allowing the fastening points to be concealed within the assembled profile. Consider the profile position and cable route while planning the stair-edge finish rather than leaving them until the surrounding surfaces are complete.Building a SCALA systemThe manufacturer's compatible components include the milky TERRA polycarbonate cover, ANTI anti-slip cord and aluminium end caps. The caps come in left-hand and right-hand versions, with or without a hole. Choosing the correct end therefore involves both the direction of the profile and the intended cable exit, not simply a matching silver colour. The profile does not determine the light output or colour of the finished installation; these depend on the selected LED strip. Blue illumination in the application photographs illustrates one possible arrangement, rather than a fixed lighting characteristic of this silver section. Treat the mechanical profile, cover and electrical lighting components as distinct parts when planning the system.A restrained architectural detailSCALA is intended for illuminating stairs, including those in public spaces. Straight lines and exposed silver metal give it a technical, minimalist appearance suited to modern architecture. Its role is to carry a line of light along the steps, rather than replace a luminaire used for general room illumination.Pokaż więcej
