VASAGLE LBC42WT white corner shelving unit, 30 × 30 × 129.5 cm

Name: VASAGLE LBC42WT white corner shelving unit, 30 × 30 × 129.5 cm
Brand: Vasagle & Songmics

The VASAGLE LBC42WT is a white freestanding corner shelving unit with curved shelf fronts and two solid panels meeting at a right angle. It places books and display pieces at the junction of two walls rather than using the longer stretch of wall needed for a wide bookcase.Measure the corner and the objectsThe unit measures 30 cm wide, 30 cm deep and 129.5 cm high. Compare these dimensions with your intended position, including the location of any skirting boards. Its shape is designed for a 90° corner, with the rounded front facing into the room. It is therefore a corner-specific layout, not a rectangular bookcase simply placed against one wall. The distance between shelves is 30.5 cm. Use this measurement when checking the height of books, picture frames or other objects intended for the compartments. The open fronts leave the contents visible, making this a display and storage unit rather than a cupboard for concealing belongings.Four tiers with a separate top surfaceThe manufacturer describes the unit as four-tiered; the upper surface sits above the open compartments. The shelves are made from 15 mm particleboard, with a stated load capacity of up to 15 kg per shelf. That is a shelf rating, not a load allowance for any single point on the furniture.Assembly is required. The manufacturer specifies numbered parts, instructions and an included anti-tip device. Allow for securing the tall, narrow unit in accordance with the assembly instructions when choosing its position. Standing it in a corner does not replace the intended anti-tip protection.A restrained setting for books and displaysThe continuous white finish, solid sides and curved edges give the shelving a simple modern appearance without decorative handles. The manufacturer identifies living rooms, bedrooms and studies as suitable settings, and mentions books, decorations and plants as possible contents. Check the weight, height and footprint of your intended display against the shelf limits and curved shape. This makes the decision about the actual objects you want to store, rather than the appearance of an empty corner alone.Mostrar mais
