Dinner Plate Comporta L 27 cm

Name: Dinner Plate Comporta L 27 cm
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

Comporta L by Bazar Bizar is a stoneware dinner plate handmade in Portugal. Its round, shallow form has a broad rim marked by concentric bands of glaze. Beige, brown and grey earth tones move from a quieter centre towards a darker border, rather than forming a single uniform colour.Allowing space for the large dinner plateThe 27 cm diameter is the full outside measurement, including the rim, not the diameter of the food area alone. The plate is 2 cm high. This is a shallow plate for a main course rather than a deep bowl. Compare its outside diameter with your place setting and with the shelf where you plan to store it.The Comporta collection includes other shapes of tableware. When adding pieces, check the individual type and dimensions as well as the collection name. Here, size L identifies dinner plate POCE021Y-L. Photographs showing several pieces illustrate the collection together, rather than a different form of this particular plate.A glaze that varies between piecesThe manufacturer describes a decorative crackle-glaze finish. Handmade production brings subtle differences in colour and surface texture. When building a service, expect related tones rather than an identical pattern on every plate. That distinction matters when adding new pieces to tableware you already own.The pronounced rings at the edge and varied surface give the plate a rustic character. For a kitchen or dining-room table setting, it offers visible ceramic texture in place of a smooth, plain-coloured finish. Other pieces in the Comporta family can be selected for the same general glaze character.Handling and careWash and dry the plate thoroughly before first use. The manufacturer's care guidance calls for gentle handling and avoiding thermal shock: heating and cooling should happen gradually. Place hot items on suitable trivets. Hand washing is recommended for larger or more delicate pieces. Follow those instructions rather than assuming a cleaning or heating method is suitable simply because the plate is made from stoneware.Mostrar mais
