Crankshaft bearings for PORSCHE 996 3.4 Boxster 986 987 2.7 3.2 STANDARD

Crankshaft bearings for PORSCHE 996 3.4 Boxster 986 987 2.7 3.2 STANDARD Locking tongue top left Description: The crankshaft, as a central component of the engine, connects the drivetrain (clutch, transmission, etc.) to the pistons and cylinders. The crankshaft bearings are subjected to high loads. In most cases, the crankshaft is a forged and therefore robust component. The main bearings of the crankshaft wear out more frequently. If the crankshaft bearings are worn and not replaced in time, damage to the bearing surfaces of the crankshaft can result. It is therefore advisable to check the proper functioning of the crankshaft bearings when working on the engine. We offer various bearings in standard, oversize, and undersize dimensions. This is indicated in the title. Brand Information: In 1909, the Pierburg brothers founded Pierburg GmbH in Berlin, which has been producing carburetors ever since. In 1986, the Düsseldorf-based Rheinmetall Group acquired the company and began building its automotive technology division. In 1998, Pierburg merged with Kolbenschmidt AG, also acquired by Rheinmetall, to form Kolbenschmidt Pierburg AG. This gives Rheinmetall AG a strong position in all areas related to the engine. Within the Kolbenschmidt Pierburg Group, Pierburg is considered an expert in emissions reduction, air supply, and throttle valves.
